Last weekend after visiting some family I finally had time to start on the build off bicycle. I got some stuff done and now have to wait on parts. Stainless parts are coming from the laser cutters next week and additional stainless fitting are coming from my usual supplier.
I tried mitering in the lath for the first time. I must say it is working beyond expected. I should have finished the rebuildin (read: extensive restauration) of my '49 Myford a long time ago. I always had excess to a lath at work. Just never used it there to miter. I had the lathe finished about a year ago and had all the fixtures ready as well just never felt the need to use them.
